Hello all,

In Lieu of Kari’s Law, I need to update my customers 911 locations on an extension basis.

They currently have their main location, in which the Main E-9-1-1 is tied to and where the Avaya PBX resides.

They have two remote locations with a few extensions that share the same PBX that need to send out their location when 911 is called. They all share the same main number, so that would need to be sent out on all calls aside from 911

What I am thinking is having the carrier (Telnet) take two open Telephone Numbers, and Assign the two other E-9-1-1 locations address to them.

Create two new ARS Tables:

- ARS Remote Location 1
- ARS Remote Location 2

And Assign the 9N Dial Out Short Code on an Extension Basis to either "ARS Remote Location 1/2"

I would then update the ARS Table as follows

- ARS Remote Location 1
- Phone Number: XXX-XXX-0001 is the open TN Tied to the remote locations address
- Phone Number: XXX-XXX-0000 is the Main Telephone Number that rings all 3 locations

in your ARS make 933 dial emergency and set it up just like 11 or 911 and see if it works.

With this the test still reads back our main number and not the one in the ARS:

Also, I had my customer test on their end with 9-3-3 and they are getting: "The # you have dialed is not in service. Please check the number and dial again, thank you.”

When I test here at the office I get the "You have reached the 9-1-1 Address Verification Service"

Is this Carrier Specific? Curious why it is not working for them. They are on a PRI, I am on a SIP Trunk - Different Carriers.

Also, on their Main ARS that they currently use where the phone system resides, shall up enter in the "11" and "911" Phone numbers there as well, like the remote locations? Or should the Main Location have an "Emergency ARS" Built as well like the two remote locations with the 50: Main left alone? Or can I use the default 50: Main as the Main Emergency ARS?
