Multiple DSL Aggregation through a PIX

Hello All,

I have to find a solution for my current company that I am contracting for. They have (6) 1/2 T1 DSL lines coming in on (6) different DSL routers--the other half of the full T1 lines go for Voice and are configured just fine. They are all from the same provider. They are currently only using (1) 1/2 T1 line for their internet access and VPN. I am trying to find a way to Aggregate this bandwidth on a very tight budget. I have (1) 2600 Cisco Router and a (24 port) Gigabit Switch -Layer 2- to help me in this quest. Our current network is behind a Cisco 515 PIX. Each 1/2 T1 DSL line has its own gateway. One thing though, their subnets are all 255.255.255.240 I wonder if I can just plug all 6 lines into the switch in front of the Router, (gateways-switch-router-pix) and then just configure the router for the multiple gateways?? I have contacted Cisco to no avail without being charged an arm and a leg. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated--sample coding for this HIGHLY appreciated. This would be done in a lab environment if they were willing to pay for one So I must gave all my ducks in a row before implementation.

Sorry for the confusion. They are (6) T1 lines coming in on each routers CSU/DSU. Then the Cisco 2600 routers split half for voice and the other for data on seperate ethernet ports. This leaves me with 6 data ports to aggregate into one pipe (hopefully). I was originally going on their paperwork they had written up when I got here. I should have verified the info before posting. Thanks for your help on this. I spoke with a Cisco rep and he is stating that Multilink PPP would probably be my best solution, with serial connections to the one 2600 I have available. Solution being Gateways--Router--Pix--Network. Please let me know of any valuable information anyone can provide as the proper path. I am still researching the best solution. Thanks Again!!

You'll need to do traffic engineering on your cisco router and NOT on the pix. The PIX isn't a router, and can't perform policy based routing (PBR). You'll want to look into that, and maybe post to the Cisco: Routers group here with your question.

That is why I said PIX in the title, I did not see the Cisco Router group.

Looks like I will try and get our company to purchase a 7100 series router with the 8-T1 serial ports needed to setup MPPP.
