I am upgrading a customer from a Lucent Def 1 to a New MICS.
The old PBX offered multiple Dns or Ext #s per set.

Does the MICS do this? If so how?

tks...

Photons solution I tried and it worked like a charm.
I did not quite follow jerryreeves solution.

If it works, don't fix it.

Good idea, Jerry.

Classic.

Glad you got it working ryezak. ;D

You still not working on it? you have to kill the pool and external access number assignments before you can get the routes and destinations to work.

Yeah, it works...the way photon33 said. I still have no idea what you're talking about...?

what I was refering to was simply using the destination codes and route tables to let you almost speed dial a number. for example my cell phone was 555 0461 so I set up a destination code of 461 with the destination code using a route table of 10 and absorbed all digits. now the call is presented to the route table 10 which has instructions to use pool a and dial 5550461.

the advantage is you don't need a feature code to use a speed dial, just pick up intercom dialtone and dial 461. you can transfer to that or even forward to that destination.
