I'm not sure why this was done but over the years multiple DID numbers for one of our departments got published without my knowledge and have to be pointed to the same call processor. Now the new department head wants to get rid of the long menu and ring the hunt group directly. My first solution was to create a new call processor in AVST Callxpress without a menu and then a blind transfer to the hunt group. Then I made that CP the target for the three dept numbers. That works but there is a pause and a voiced in "One moment please" that the dept head wants removed. After trying to remove it it seems to be not possible maybe it is not adminstrable. So then I tried call forwarding the numbers directly to the hunt group number without having to go through AVST. But doing that caused some other problems the biggest one being I had to leave the coverage path 1 feild blank on all three DIDs to make the call forwarding take over and when everybody goes home it never goes to voice mail it just rings forever. So now I am back to using the call processor and looking for a way to remove the voiced in "One moment please". Is it possible or do we have to live with it? Thanks

I have several done like this. Departments publish multiple numbers in the directory then need to send it to one number ( Auto attendants in my case). I made a VDN out of the number and pointed it to a vector. The vector points it to the auto attendant. "0" wait time and no wait to be transfered message. Works well here.

Thanks Mike I am a bit of a caveman when it comes to vectoring though. Could you give details on this method? Thanks

Li vec" find one not in use.
" add vdn xxxx" xxxx is the extension number you want to point back to the hunt group. Point it to your vector.

"ch vec ?" In the vector write it like this. Should get you there...

Code:
display vector 7 Page 1 of 3
                                  CALL VECTOR

    Number: 7 Name: 5xxxx

Hey I think I actually figured it out thanks again for the tip:)

Oh I just read your 2nd reply that looks similar to mine but I didn't do step 1 wait time I just did Route to as my step one and I think it is working.
