Hello!

I've got a report like this

Group1 Title1 (only text field on section a Group1)
Group1 Title2 (only text field on section b Group1)
Detail1
Detail2

Do someone know if it's possible to display the lines like this:

Group1 section a Title1
Detail section a
Group1 section b Title2
Detail section b

Thank you so much...I know if there is no solution I have to use a subreport!!

You can't do that as such. You could get the same effect by other methods. Maybe by a detail line with header data, that is normally suppressed. Right-click on a section and choose [Format Section] to get at the suppress options, which include suppressing using a formula.

It helps to give your Crystal version, since newer versions have extra options, and some extra problems. I use Crystal 8.5.

More info on your sections would be helpful.

Is Title1 a different field in the same record as Title2?

Are the fields in sections detail a and b different fields in the same record or does detail b print a different set of records than detail a?

MrBill

Thank you for your advise.

I've found an other solution:
I put my data in the group section with variables and I put them to zero after each group's change.

For MrBill: title 1 is a different field in the same record of title 2.
