I am creating a database of multiple choice questions that will be used to generate pre and post tests. The master test is currently about 60 questions in length, but will grow over time. Answer sets range on an average of 4-5 per question, and each answer set is different (unique to that question). I created a Questions table containing the following fields:

Subject QuestionID Question CorrectAnswer StudentAnswer
History AutoNum Columbus discovered: B A

AnswerSet
A. Canada
B. America
C. Peru

I am not sure that I've set this up correctly in order to generate pre and post tests (several questions from each subject will be selected). Thanks for your help.

Skip--this is terrific. Thanks so much. I must admit that I feel like a dope now that I see how you set this up. Some days the old synapses just don't fire. Thanks again.
