Multiple Analog Line Configuration in IP OFFICE

I have an ip offfice with two only analog lines. They are connected to port 9 and 10. Line group IDs are 1 and 2.
I created a short code
9N
Dial
N
Line group ID :1

8N
Dial
N
Line group ID :2

I am able to dial out using line 1 and 2 when i enter 8 or 9 followed by number . Now if i want to create a single short code that can use both lines based on the availability what should i do.

When user enter 9 followed by number the system should automatically select any one of the available analog lines. How can i configure this?

Any help will be appreciated.

No they didn't...moreover they didn't give a demo on how to configure lines. We had to learn it by ourself or from docs. Since i handle E1s and SIP trunks got a little confused about analog trunks

yes you can have 0 for both

I always assign 0 to unused line ports. Put them both in 1 or 2.

Unless you are selling systems with tons of unused analog trunks you are wasting hours of labor per year in changing your in-use trunks to a different group ID. Unless you really like spending time on meaningless busywork then you are far better off leaving the in-use ports at 0 (the default) and changing the far fewer quantity of unused trunks to something else (1 or 2 if you prefer).

Just an opinion but I'd have to seriously coach one of my employees for such a wasteful use of their time and my money.
