Guys,

Another question:

This customer has set up a Multilevel Auto Attendant with two menus:

-. Thank you for calling, please press 1 for Sales, 2 for Accounting

If you press 1, then it tells you: Press 1 if you would like to reach John, 2 for Paul, 3 for Mary.

If the caller doesn't select an option it replays the same message: 1 for John, 2 for Paul, 3 for Mary....

If the caller don't make a selection it replays the same message 3 times before transfering to the attendant.

This customer wants the menu "1 for John, 2 for Paul and 3 for 3" to be played ONLY once, and NOT be transfered to the attendant. Is this possible? If yes, How?

Regards,

Daniel

It will play the message 3 times - no option to change

It can be configured to hang up after 3 times or transfer to the att.

You can make the attendant any dialable number that you want.

kwb,

Thanks mate!

Where do I program to hang up and not transfer to the Attendant?

Regards,

Daniel

It's done thru the edit mailbox function in the Admin Mailbox

1.Access the Administrator's Mailbox.

2.Press [2] to edit or delete mailboxes.

3.Press [2] for the Edit Mailbox menu.

4.Enter the mailbox number to edit.

5.Press [#] until you get to the Menu Node Time Out option. The system specifies the active Menu Node Time Out behavior:
"Disconnect on menu mailbox time out is disabled" – callers are sent to the mailbox operator upon time out.
"Disconnect on menu node time out is enabled" – callers are disconnected upon time out.

6.To disconnect callers upon time out, press [1] (enable disconnect).
To send callers to the mailbox operator upon time out, press [2] (disable disconnect).

◦Note: The default is "Disconnect on menu mailbox time out is disabled".

7.The system returns you to the mailbox.
