hi can any of you confirm if calls coming in to multicalls work across a dpnss network or do the 3300s have to be fully ip networked.

You can't do multicalls across PBX's, period.

The only way to get set ringing from one controller to another is by using Remote Busy Lamps.

thanks kwb thats the only solution i could think of. ideally i want a way of evenly distrubuting calls to multiple users across different sites, all calls coming on on one number at one site, currerntly they have DPNSS connecting sites but hopefully within the next couple of months MPLS is been installed.
unsure if setting the users as acd agents would work??
otherwise may have to create dummy exts at the main site and create remote blfs of those exts on the users handsets at the remote site................

the joys of mitel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks for the replies

Networked ACD is what you want. It should work fine over DPNSS or IP trunks once you have the MPLS links.

ACD is the way to go as long as you don't want more than 1 phone ringing at the same time on the same call.
