Hi Everyone,

I have a customer that purchased a Multi-Tech Fax Finder Model FF230 to connect to their Nortel MICS Release 4.1. We can't find any documentation that shows how to connect it and programm everything. Any help would be great.

Thnak You in advance.

You will need an analog port, either an ATA device or a port off of the ASM, analog station module, if you have one.

OK, I got that, Thanks. Is there any programming that needs to be done other that assiging Target lines to the ATA? Will this Fax Finder work with the Nortel MICS? I saw something that it will not work because the MICS doesn't pass DTMF.

Since the Nortel system doesn’t pass DTMF tones, an option is to use the FF230 in POTs mode and have the analog lines connect directly to the FaxFinder (bypassing the Nortel phone system).
