Multi Call Key appearance error on Cluster

Hi all I am trying to program a multi call key for one ext where the Muti call Group number is on another site in the cluster. I get error saying Directory number cannot be configured because it is already programmed in a remote node..

The site where the multi call group resides is in the cluster and the group DN is in the remote directoy form to show which site this number is at..

Can anyone give me any pointers please.. prob somehting obvious I'm missing.. Thanks

I believe that you must add the device in the remote directory numbers form under telephone directory. Then you can assign it locally.

Sorry my bad, you have it already in the remote dn form. Then try using a remote dss/blf kay and set it to ring.

Multicall keys and keylines cannot be programmed on remote systems except for resiliency.

A DSS key can be used but make sure to properly program the Remote BLF form.

Agree with kwbMitel. You can't do a multikey across a cluster. Only a DSS/BLF.
