MTS installation error- Win98 1

Hi,

I am trying to install MTS on my Windows98 (64M RAM) machine. I used the setup.exe in PWS folder from the CD and I chose the Typical Installation.

I get the following error messages and I was hoping someone could help me.

1 " An unknown error ocurred while making MTS specific changes to the registry. Error code = 0x80004005 "

2. "Setup of Transaction Server core components failed. Specific error code is 0xfee670. Setup will continue but component may not funtion properly."

3."Micrsoft Transaction Server setup was not completed successfully"

I tried three times and always got the same errors.
PWS seems to be working ok. I really need to use MTS.

I would appreciate any/all help.

I encountered this problem also. Microsoft offers a fix. Go to -

Download Mtssetup.exe to replace the Mtssetup.dll...your problem will be fixed.
