I have two users' PC's, that when running MSWord and choosing File>Sendto>Recipient open a blank message with no LAN contacts in the Global Address List. All other users can do this and send to any Outlook Address Recipient/internal or external.
Here are the basics:
Win98 local, WNNT 4.0 servers
Running Office 97, Outlook 98, Exchange 5.5

Any help would be appreciated. MS knowledgebase hasn't been too kind to me on this one(normally pretty good). If you have any suggestions.....I am all ears (or eyes in this case). Thanks Dan

Yes I have, it is the same as properties of Outlook user profiles (local machine). What I have found though, is that it defaults to the Outlook Express address book...which forever why, I couldn't hazard a guess. Anyway thanks Zelandakh, for the tip, good to see this forum works!

Open Internet Explorer. Tools-Internet options-Programs tab. Make sure Outlook is the email program listed there.

Is the global address list set to be the first address book to be checked in the outlook profile?
Make sure the profile checks in this order GAL > Contacts > PAB (if they have one)
