How can I print the same field twice on a form without having the user enter it again. It is a very simple form: tab to field, enter data, tab, enter, ... print, maybe save under a unique name. Nothing fancy at all.

Exact usage is in a contract. User will enter name in the opening, then I want to print it again under a signature line.

Probably very simple for some in the know, but driving me crazy.

Thank you very much in advance !!!

Hi,

If you enter data into a formfield, you can have that data replicated elsewhere in your document via a REF field.

When you create the formfield, set its properties to give a meaningful bookmark and to 'calculate on exit'. Then, at the point where you want the data to be replicated, press Ctrl-F9 and type the bookmark name between the field braces.

When you're done, protect the document for forms and you're on your way.

Cheers

Or an OnExit macro for the originating formfield that makes as many other formfields results as you like.
