msvcrt.dll

After deleting a lot of programs on fiends windows 95 machine I got the following error message......"MSVCRT.DLL missing". I took the file off the Win95 CD and installed it in C:\windows\system. When I started it back up I Got this error message......."The MSVCP50.DLL file is linked to missing export MSVCRT.DLL:_gettnames." (that is not a typo).

Anyone seen this before?

It's possible that the msvcp50.dll file is looking for a msvcrt.dll file which is a later version than the one copied from the Win 95 CD.

See if any of these msvcrt.dll files fix things:

I tried two differant ones already with no luck. But I will also try these.
