MSVCRT.DLL Error message 1

I have a client who runs Word 2000 on a Windows ME 500MHz Emachine. She consistently receives the following error message: "Winword has caused an error in MSVCRT.DLL. Winword will now close."
She uses macros to do form letters.
I cannot find anything on the MicroSoft web site regarding this error. Any suggestions?

I am running Windows 98 on an e-machine. I consistently receive errors when running Word 2000 which I have loaded on my PC. I get a WINWORD error pop up window which tells me to ignore the message or close the program. I also receive FFF... messages and the program just crashes and exits. Any suggestions what I can do?

I have tons of RAM and memory so that is not an issue.
