Guys,
Is there any way of proactively monitoring the MSTR I-Server 7.5.2 health. I mean, lets say, if the I-Server goes down for whatever reasons, then is there any way of setting up triggers or setup any kind of monitors which will fire an email or send a pager message or something similar, like as DB servers which send a message/page the DBA's of the Server status if it is going down.

Thanks in advance for your help guys.

Check out the MicroStrategy Service Monitor functionality.
Then, you can also use Narrowcast Server to have it send you an email when I-Server goes down (possible since NCS 7.0...).
Any of the process that you are currently using for your databases apply to I-Server.... I am sure you can re-use something you already have in place (less work is better right? ;-) ).

2 cents,
FLB

FLB,

Thanks for your recommendations. I will look into it.
