MSQ810 Employee Photo Problem 2

Is anyone familiar with the requirements for employee photos accessed by the MSQ810 program? I have created .jpg files with the employee ID as the name, and pointed the path to the photo in the Employee Information record. I have tried just the path and the path\filename on the MSO813 with the same effect. Still, MIMS indicates that "The employee image does not exist on the specified path." I remember someone saying that the image had to be of a specific format to work, but I can't remember the details.

I am running MIMS 4.3.1.1 on a Unix server with an NT/Citrix front end. The photo path is a windows directory that the front end has access to. Any ideas where I'm going wrong?

I fought with this one myself. The only way I could get it to work was name the photo with <employee_id>.jpg (which you have done) and set the photo path with the entire URL (drive letters wouldn't work). This was on v5.2.1.1

Hope this works.

I found the format has to be Ennnnn.jpg. nnnnn = employee_id, E for Employee version non-employee.

You can put all your employees photos in a directory, such as C:\Photos\ with filename as Ennnnnnnnnn.JPG where n is the 10 digit Employee ID.
In MSO813, just update the photo pathname with 'C:\Photos\' as above for all employees records who has photo. You can use a mapped directory like P:\ instead of using C:\.

to rename file names and resize the photo files to fit the MSQ810 screen. Resizing them to be 6x9 cm with 100 DPI is quite acceptable.
