Hi, could anybody help me with possible security setting issue for MSQ object. In this case we have special group security for read only acces to msq541, msq620, msq600, etc.
The use can only preview all those object withou modifying, creating etc...
The problem is that when he open certain work request we need to view herarchy of this work request (containing work order related...) - abut eror message (Work request does not exist appears...- thats strange when this proces begins with opening of the WR ;)..).
What I think is that this message is little bit confusing and the problem is somewhere else - I would expect with security settings...
Could anybody help me with this? I know its not descriptive - and maybe it will be necessary to know current security settings - in this case I can provide content of MSF020_x like table contents.
Its urgent for us, I would appriciate any help/hint..
Thank you in advance.
Petr

Best regards
Petr

Hello Petbul,
The only thing that I can think of off the top of my head is does this user have access to the MSQ541 - work request screen? If they don't that could be why they are getting the message.
Hope this helps.
If I think of anything else I'll let you know.
Thanks,

Hi Dianne, yes, user in this group has (read only) access to MSQ541 - and other modules as well (msq620, msq600, etc..).

Best regards

Hello again Petbul,
I thought about this again. I remember having a similiar issue. The users deleted and re-added the work request, and work orders. The end result was the database table msfx51 (work request cross reference table) got corrupted. The table said it was connected to a work order that did not exist anymore. We had to run the MSX620.cbl program to fix the problem. I hope this helps.
Thanks,

Thank you Dianne,
I think you could be right. This could be also the case - we had also similar troubles with cross references. But I am not sure its the case now - because we can view the hierarchy for on WR using one user in global profile with full rights to WR and WO. Using another user in global profile with less rights we can't. So I really think it's related to security settings.
Thank you.
Petr
