MSQ000 Win View Error 1

I have a handfull of users that keep getting this error message: "fatal exception has occured in msq000.exe." Does anyone know how to fix this? I have been re-installing the applicaiton, but it takes a lot of time. Also, anyone know what might be causing it?

We had this error occur in our Winview Ellipse 5.2.3.2 environment which was deployed via Novell Zen Networks Application Explorer to the PC... it was a problem with the Deployment of the registry settings by Novell... Drew

try to unregister / register MSQ000. also have a look at the system32 vcl30.dpl file if this list in the properties "special build". if not those user will need admin rights on their pc's to work with ellipse client. catch if they do delphi development you will need the original vcl30.dpl meaning sysadmin right on that pc. Instead of giving local admin rights to the user you might just need to grant Full Control for Everyone to the CLSID registry keys for MSQ000.exe (and vcl30.dpl if it has such entries). We use that approach for all Ellipse client components and all our non-admin users can run Ellipse OK.
