Hi folks,

I have several linked projects with a shared resource pool. Can anyone advise if it is possible to set the priority of one project to be higher than another at the Project level so that the higher priority project has first call on the shared resource when levelling? (I know that you can set individual tasks to "1000" - i.e. 'don't level' but that's a pain with lots of tasks when trying out 'what ifs'.

Thanks

Open a blank project
Insert p1 (leave the field "Link to Project" with a check mark
Insert p2 (leave the field ... )
etc.

Expand all projects (forces Prj to consider Resource Pool)

Insert the column "Priority"

Set the priority field for the EACH PROJECT LINE ONLY to reflect your priorities for those projects. (You can also set the priority field for various tasks but that's probably just asking to be hit in the face with a wet fish.)

Click on Tools > Level Resources and answer the prompts.

Thanks, that seems to work just fine.
