I just rebuilt w98, and keep getting a message the computer is unable to load msnp32.dll. It is there in win/system directory. Any ideas?
Thx

You might try using SFC to extract and replace the msmp32.dll file as it may be corrupted. It's located in the cabinet file called NET7.CAB in the Win98 directory of the distribution CD.

Good Luck And now back to The Lord of the Rings

That didn't seem to help. I did fix the problem by deleting the microsoft network from control panel/network. When I deleted it it couldnt find protman.dos. I found it on the copy of my old drive and moved it over.
Thanks
