MSN with Outlook 2003

Hello, i am trying to configure outlook to receive my e-mail from MSN. I configured the following based off of Microsofts page.

POP3: pop3.email.msn.com
SMTP: smtp.email.msn.com

I used the correct username and password, however, everytime I try to send and receive e-mail, a MSN username and password dialog box appears. I place in the username and password and it doesn't accept it. I know for a fact that these are correct.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

Does the 'my server requires authentication' setting change this behavior?

Yes, that box is checked

I had this same problem with a user. I had to make her a local Power User account and it worked fine.

You need to have a oremium membership to get your msn mail with outlook.
