MSN Messenger Problem . PLS Advice

I want to make stop to MSN Messenger activate automaticly when i am turning my PC on. And it it make me wait ( close to 5 min) before my Notebook activate some other apllications.

From some reason it it not working...
I dont know how to do it

Any body can advice me...

what operating system do you have?

remove key in the registry under hkey_current_user -> software-> microsoft->windows->Run there should be a stringvalue like ""C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\MsnMsgr.Exe" /background"

delete key, automatic startup will not be executed anymore

hi RMGBELGIUM!

I did what you are told me to do.
And its working until i am opening mu MSN messenger again!!!
The next bootup after that i see again the same regestry in the regedit. And my pc again trying to open MSN before i can do something on the PC.

You need to open up MSN messenger and click on Tools/Options/Preferences. Then uncheck the box that says "Run at Windows Startup" or something like that.
