MSN provides internet access, I see no reason why you could not set up a PPP connection with using your MSN account.

As long as MSN suppports PPP your in business.

people, i guess jakhan is asking whether MSN Messenger for Linux exists.. but not whether he can connect to the MSN Internet network by PPP... kind of like LICQ, the ICQ version of Linux...

I believe ICQ for Java version also able to run under Linux enviroment. You would able to download it from main icq web site.

M$ is excluding certain user agents and browsers from their
sites these days. It might be that anything not m$ will
not work. Try browsing msn.com with mozilla or opera.

Lourdes, are you talking about MSN Messenger? Some people also call MS Internet Explorer, MSN. Or do you want to connect to the MSN network? The only MSN Messenger for linux I know of is EVERYBUDDY. It has most of the different types of instant messengers all in one program and you can get it at I don't know of a linux version of Explorer. There is no reason you can't use linux to access MSN. You would just have to use Netscape or Netscape-type browser called Mozilla.
