Earlier this month, I purchased several MSM422s to replace some older wireless equipment. I have run into what I think is a configuration error on my part, but I cannot figure out where I have gone wrong.

Radio 1 is set for G mode.
Radio 2 is set for monitor.
Channel 7 is selected

I have not checked Use HP ProCurve MSM Controller.

I created a VSC using the default settings to test and then started adding settings. Everything was going well until I attempted to add encryption to the AP.

I selected Wireless Protection WPA, Mode WPA (TKIP), Key Source Pre-Shared Key, and I entered the PSK. The PSK is 15 characters long and contains both upper and lower case letters. I also tried with a shorter/longer PSK with the same results.

Any suggestions how to get the PSK to work would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jay

I reset the AP to the factory defaults and everything is working now. I am guessing this was a configuration error on my part.
