MSM WMI Help

Hello all,

I am working on a feed for SMS to Remedy Action Request system, and am having problems with the WBEM aspect of it. All permissions seem to be correct, and using WBEMTEST.EXE i can connect successfully to \\servername\root\sms. However, when i run the query "SELECT NamespacePath FROM SMS_ProviderLocation WHERE ProviderForLocalSite = True" i get an access denied error.

Any ideas on what aspect of access i have failed to configure correctly on my remote SMS site server?

dont you just need a read account to connect remedy to the SMS db?

As Tim said, you shouldn't need any special permissions to connect to the WMI repository, assuming your Wql is correct.
