I have a user that when she goes into the add/remove programs recieves a error message "Mshta.exe error". Also a message "unexpected error occured.Class not registered res://appwiz.cpl/listbox.htc" I have used the troubleshooting tips at the following address: I have also ran REGSVR32 APPWIZ.CPL, SFC/SCANNOW, and SFC/PURGECACHE at the cmd line with no results.
Does anyone out there have a differnet fix to this problem ? It has me bewildered.

Have you tried just re-installing the OS? Don't delete anything, just re-load and if it asks for a clean install or repair, choose repair. (If this has always happened, some files may not have loaded, if it just started, the machine may have had a senior moment and forgot them. Seen it happen with other apps.) Also, did you look for the file in the registry? Good luck. Glen A. Johnson

The link worked fine. I do not get any more error messages, however, when I go into add/remove programs it has no listings only a blank screen.

What do I do now? And thanks very much for your input and help.

Are you sure it is blank? Sometimes it puts all of your installed programs down to the bottom. Use the scroll bar and see if it is really blank. I have seen it put them to the bottom but never blank you out completely.
