Msgs stuck in xmit q 1

Hi all,

We are running MQ on an RS/6000 running AIX to an AS/400 host over TCP/IP. Although the channel to the AS/400 is running msgs are still on the xmit q on the aix machine. Does anyone have any idea why this might be as no configuration changes have been made to the definitions on the AIX. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Hello Siuwan .. This is just a long shot ... I dont know what version of AS/400 you are running. However i seem to remember that the XMITQ on the AIX must have the same name as the QManager on the AS/400 machine
hence if the qmanager on as/400 is called fred ... then the xmitq on aix must be called fred. Try this i will be inter3ested to here how you've resolved the problem. I will see if i can think of anythink else.

ALSO IS THE AIX RUNNING AS A CLIENT?
