Is it possible to have a message box where one button reads 'create new request' and opens a form ready for data input and another button reads 'View old requests' and opens a different form?

I have only ever used Yes/No msgboxes and am not sure of this is possible...

can anyone help?

shaunacol,

I would suggest creating an Access form to take the place of the MsgBox function in this case. I have done this for custom logon forms instead of using input boxes or the Access security options. It should also work for a Msgbox. That way you can put whatever buttons on the form you want and more completely control the look and results of the action. Concerning form settings, I would suggest setting border style to dialog, controlbox to No, PopUp to Yes, and Modal to Yes. Place your button on the form, give it a label with an explanation, and then open the form at the point you would want the message to appear. Hope this is helpful.
