msdtc.exe application error

On start up this message: msdtc.exe application error comes out with another message: The instruction at 0x77fc9ba2 referenced memory at 0x0000274d the memory could not be written - comes up when starting up Windows 2000 SP2. Any advise please. Thank you.

I get the same, except mine reads "the instruction at "0x77fcb399" "and reference memory at the same as you report.
