MSDL0304 x y
The Meridian 1 received 100 or more messages from MSDL x within two
seconds. At this level of message transfer, there may be some impact
to the overall system performance. The level of service does not
warrant removing the card from service. Where: x = device number (LD17
DNUM) y = the rate of message transfer from the card to the Meridian 1,
in terms of messages per second.

Severity: Major

Any help ??
Regards

I've had this when the DCH goes into a Cisco Call Manager. The problem was the Cisco box.

Hi GH, it is a TELCO PRI and it is use mainly for incoming calls. Any more suggestions??

During a maintenance window, I would disable the loop, DCH, and MSDL card. Reseat the MSDL card and then re-enable everything. 9 times out of 10, that clears MSDL errors.

prior to the MSDL error, did you happen to see any ERR5132's?

If so, you most likely have a CDP looping issue. Err5132 is formatted like:

ERR5132 0(Cust #) 1(Inc Route) 1(Out Route) XXXX(DN)

If you then go to LD 87 and out the CDP entry that is giving you problems, you'll then be able to eliminate the MSDL0304's.

Also I would force download the msdl card. This ensures a good download !! enl msdl x fdl.
