MSDE installation rollsbabk?!?!

Every time I try to install MSDE in my W2K server, when the progress bar is reachind the end, it simply rolls back and don't complete the installation.

HELP PLEASE!!!!

You aren't giving us enough information to help.

What errors/messages are you seeing when it rolls back?

How far do you get before the rollback?

Are there any messages in the Windows Event Viewer Logs (application, system, security)?

There's no erros messages at all. I'm installing in a w2k server.

I already tried to download the most recently version but the situation continues.

I had same problem. Enabled the file and printer sharing for microsoft Network solved the problem. Could help for you too.?
