Hi,

I'm trying to use the Microsoft Communications Control version 6.0 in Access 97.

When trying to use this control i am faced with the error:-

'You dont have the required licence to use this activex control'

The ocx file is mscomm32. I have tried unregistering and reregistering the
file and that doesn't seem to work.

Does anybody know what else i can look at doing?

Also if anything, where is the list compiled from which i choose my activeX
in access e.g - when i hit the activeX button, where do all the options i can
choose come from (this is just so i know for the future).

Thanks for any help,

Alex
