I have a server running W2K and RRAS. I am able to establish a VPN connection from a W2K Pro workstation, no problem. I am able to resolve names through pings and mapping drives no problem. My only problem is that I am not able to browse the network using My Network Places. I have a WINS server and a DNS server setup internally. Any thoughts?

Also, is it possible to have domain logon scripts run through the VPN on VPN connection?

Possibly a NETBIOS problem?
Look in the setting for your lan card for using netbios over TCPIP
Also can you login and authenticate to your server?

Netbios over TCP/IP is checked and I am able to authenticate to the domain controller.

Hi I am have windows XP at home. I have installed Contivity VP client from Nortel. I am could connect to work but I can not access my work network or even my own machine at work. Can someone help?

I am not sure this will help but I did find somewhere in doing some research that it states that if you put your WINS server address in the TCP/IP protocols tab, that it will let you see the network. I am having one of our users do this because they are having same problem as discussed. As soon as they can do this will see what the results are.

Hope this helps
