MSAM on Win2003

Has anyone else had trouble installing MSAM on Windows 2003 server. 2003 has its own version of .net that is not the version MSAM requires. You can add ASP.Net but when you run the setup you get an error saying that MSAM requires .net sp2 installed first. I ran the install for .net and the sp2 update but still I get the same error that the installation cannot find .net sp2. Any ideas?

I just finished installing my MSAM server on Win2k3 with no problems. Works like a champ! Have you tried looking at Doug Brown's MIAB v3.0? There is a detailed section on setting up MSAM on Win2k3.

Hi,

I followed every pdf I couldnt find but eventually found the solution on a .net forum: Disable any antivirus before installation.

Hope this helps if anyone else gets the same problem!
