Hello,
I am running a desktop with XP SP2 and Office 03 with all updates.
I have a user that whenever she opens a WORD document (doesn't matter if she opens it for a second or for a few minutes) and then closes it, it will pop up a message on the desktop "MS Office has encountered a problem and needs to close. Sorry for the inconv. The infor. you were working on might be lost. MS Word can try to recover it for you." Only when she closes out of the document though and not during the time it is open so it is more of an inconvienence than anything. Doesn't happen with just one specific document. Have tried creating just a quick test document, saved to the desktop and same resulted with that.
I have tried:
Repairing Office 2003 Suite
Uninstalling and Reinstalling Office 2003 Suite with all Updates
Neither of the above worked.
Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks.
