Complete newbie to VPN so this is probably a simple question. We want to have a file storage area on home office XP machine that would be a copy of the file area on the server in the main office. These file areas then sync with each other over VPN.

Everything appears to be working OK except the client file storage is on C partition and we can't find any options to put it on another partition? Should be simple, any help appreciated.

How many hard drives? IS this a SAN or a partition on one hard drive, or an array? You can use diskpart (in the Windows command prompt), or a third party software like Partition Magic.
This is not the correct forum for this question, if I understand it correctly...this looks like a Windows deal...

This is one hard drive with several partitions and that is not the issue.

MS VPN creates, a virtual network drive where it keeps the files that it is syncing with the files on the host server. The files are not visible unless the VPN connection is open. When this virtual network drive is setup through VPN it is placed on the C drive and there is not any option to have it somewhere else at least that we can find?

We would like these files to be stored on D or E partition.

If this is still not clear I can post some screen shots of what happens during the setup.
