I would like to use TSAC on my windows 98 machine to access a remote server running 2000 Server. When I download and try to install the WEB application, it notifies me that this application will not work on my version of windows. What gives? The readme states Win9x, WinME, 2000, ect. Any ideas would be of great help.

Sorry, not a helpful reply, but I've had exactly the same thing, so it's not just you ! Ian

"IF" is not a word it's a way of life

The Terminal Services Advanced Client (TSAC) is only for Win2k systems, 98 has to use the standard client that is made with floppies.

Hope this helps,

Jason,
Thanks for the reply. What you are referring to is actually on the server where you transfer exe. file to a few floppys and then load them on the client unit. Is this correct? If you don't mind, could you list out the actual steps for those of us who are new to server applications? Thanks.

Eric

And to clarify what the other gut said TSAC is not just for 2000 users, it will only install on a 2000 server with IIS, The client can be viewed in an browser on any windows OS from anywhere that server is accesssible
