hello all,

i want to run a Sql Server cluster but store the files at a different location in the network. is it possible to configure a MS Sql Server 2000 cluster to have different physical location.

if yes, how ?

Thanx in advance

Nope. The physical files must be on shared storage which is physically connected to both nodes of the cluster such as a SAN device.

For a cluster to be supported ll hardware which makes up the cluster (SAN, HBAs, servers, etc) must all be on the HCL and be cluster certified.
