Hello,

I came across your blog on the internet. I was trying something in microsoft project and was wondering if you could offer me a solution.

In the custom fields section I need to create a formula that calculates the difference between any one individual task finish date and the task finish dates for all other tasks. I've managed to create a formula to calculate the difference between the project finish date and the finish dates of all other tasks but cannot seem to create a formula for the one I asked you about.

Does anyone have a solution?
Thanks

Formulas cannot reference other task data. You can manually type the date into a spare date field and then calculate the difference there - but you cannot reference Task X finish date without using some coding.
