Hello everyone

My problem is the following:

Every time i want to send an attachment with outlook 2000 the one who recieves it recieves it as "winmail.dat" file no matter what kind of file i send. Does any one know this problem and knows how to fix it???

With regards

Change the Outlook Email file type to text. You most likely have it set for html or rtf.

Tools>Options>Mail Format:
Change message format to Plain Text.

Thanks

It helps.
Dus it have to do anything whit Cable Internet. Because i didn't have it with ISDN.

Don't think it has anything to do with cable-modem. It has to do with the receivers email client. I know Lotus Notes on the receiving end has the problem. I'm sure others do also.

I send HTML or Outlook RTF most of the time myself but not when sending to Lotus Notes Users.
