Most odd issue ever come across.
Office Professional 2003, Service Pack 3
Several users are experiencing an issue whereby all the text in a Word document is merging on top of each other in the left hand line of the page!
It is not the margins as far as I can see, as the text is literally "stacking" the characters on top of each other, not forcing them down the page.
I will try and get an attachment showing this and upload, but in the interim any ideas would be very gratefully received...
Thanks

Neil

It is usually a problem with the printer driver. (When this happens, try switching printers to see if it dossappears.) Check that you have the latest driver available and then delete and reinstall the printer.

Thanks for the prompt reply Macropod.

I have implemented this fix, however the issue appears to occur even though the user is in Print Layout view, specifically when they press print.

Hope you can help further

Thanks in advance
Neil

Hi Neil,

In that case, it's most likely a print driver issue, as tf1 suggests.

Thanks again for promptness...

The issue occurs on the screen as well as the printout, and also occurs using 2 completely different printers..

It is within a terminal server environment, and affects at least 2 different users at 2 different locations.

Very stumped!

Thanks again

Neil

Hi Neil,

Have you tried running Word's 'Detect & Repair' function? It's on the Help menu.

Cheers
