Hi

I am trying to IPO integration to MS-CRM working, however to no avail. I do not get the "Dial" icon in the CRM web client, just 3 icons on the tool bar that pop up a dialog with the word "test".
tried uninstalling etc etc - just the same.
Anyone successfully done this or have some ideas?
Thanks

Dave

I found Global Tech Tip 77 from June 23 2005 but this refers to CRM 1.2 with Integration 2.1.2.

The files to manually edit are different now...

Tried re-installing CRM in the Deafult Web site, but didnt help....

This seems really flaky

Client Installation Notes
The default website within IIS utilises port number 80. If during the installation of MSCRM the
option to create a new website is selected, it will use port 5555.
The client installation assumes the web server connection to be port 80. If a new MSCRM
website has been created then the client will need to be re-configured to authenticate with the
server successfully. On the client machine, this can be achieved with the following steps:
1. Navigate to the following directory : Program Files\Avaya\Avaya Microsoft CRM
Integration Solution
2. Edit the following file : AvayaMSCRMEx.exe.config
<setting name=”crmportNumber” serializeAs=”String”>
<value>5555</value>
3. Save changes and restart the CRM client application.

Tried it on 80 and 5555
The issue is that the Avaya CRM server installation attempts to modify the ISV.Config.xml file but the latest,
I think, 3.0.5300.0, version of CRM does not have one of these, but a ISV.Config.xsd file which is WAY
different as you can imagine, and the manual install notes do not relate to an XSD file.

Set-up:
Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition Service Pack 1
IIS 6.0
MS-CRM 3.0.5300.0
