Hi,

We are trying to publish MS Access runtime through a Citrix farm connecting to Access databases which reside on a Windows server.

However, if the Citrix object is published through more than one of the servers in the farm the Database becomes corrupted and requires repairing.

Is there a setting we have missed?

Thanks

Andy

Doesn't each user need their own copy of the Access Runtime Database?

Cheers,

I don't believe so, we have had this working OK on a Novell server and it works OK on Citrix as long as the app is only published through one server on the Citrix farm.

Thanks

Andy

I don't know the Windows network setting, but it is a caching problem. On a Novell server you "SET CLIENT FILE CACHING ENABLED = OFF". That is what needs to be done on the Windows side. Whatever that is.

Thanks for your replies we resolved this by switching off opportunistic locking! I now recall having the same problem with DataEase for DOS under Windows 95
