MS Access causes errors and closes

I have one unit where MS Access 2000 Causes errors and closes for no reason. I've tried un-installing and re-installing Office 2000 (with SP) without success.

Have you tested your memory for bad registers in the hardware (i.e. memory stick)? This is not the best utility, but has worked well for me and is free.

You might want to do some research to find out what memory test utilites rate better. Microsoft has their own memory test utility that works pretty well too. (Thsi utility whose name I am forgetting is also a free download).

I would also defrag the HD and maybe find a good registry cleaner.

Also do a virus scan, spyware scan, and trojan scan.

Thank's, I'll test both items today or tommorow on the units to see whast the outcome is as for I also have another unit where outlook is doing the same crap.

Unfortunatly, none of the suggestions worked, a rebuild was the cure.
