mpio config "how to"

Hi Techies,

I am attempting to configure multipathing (MPIO) for fibre attached HP SAN disks on my AIX 5.3 p570 server. I only see the internal disks and its devices and not the SAN disks.
Is there a good config guide someone could refer me to as the IBM support site does not have any useful redbooks on this topic. Has anyone successfully configured MPIO against "other", non IBM fibre attached disks?

We are installing a p570 and have similar questions.
I am working with Hitachi disk, Hitachi Dynamic Link Manager and MPIO. I plan to install Tivoli Storage Manager in a partition and have 6 dedicated fc adapters to tape, 2 dedicated to the application. I plan to have 2 VIO'd fc adapters for all the rest of the partitions.
I have a lot of unanswered questions too.

A good Red Book that I have found is SG24-7940.
