Hello Everyone,
We are getting an error regarding the MP File Dispatch Manager in out SMS status messages. This has been occurring sporadically during off peak hours. I have been unable to track down the root cause of the problem. I am asking for your feedback. The MP is on a seperate server off the primary site server and the proper rights have been assigned. Any feedback would be awesome. Below is the details:
MP File Dispatch Manager running on the management point "<MP SITE SERVER>" cannot connect to site server "<SMS Primary Site Server>". The operating system reported error 997: Overlapped I/O operation is in progress.
Possible cause: The site server is turned off, not connected to the network, or not functioning properly.
Solution: Verify that the site server is turned on, connected to the network, and functioning properly.
Possible cause: Network problems are preventing MP File Dispatch Manager from properly accessing the site server.
Solution: Investigate and correct any problems with your network.
Possible cause: The account used to connect the MP to the site server may be locked out or may not have needed permissions.
Solution: Check that the account is not locked out and that it has needed permissions. Refer to SMS security documentation for more information.
