We are in the process of migrating from Nortel to Cisco. I need to OUT my 2250 and redirect calls to the operator 0 and our main number 5300 to the new Cisco Console.

I have already migrated about 1/3 of the desk phones to Cisco by removing them and creating route in LD87 to Cisco.

The new Cisco Console needs to have the main number which is x5300. I assume I just need to delete x5300 and route it just like a regular phone, but I am not sure how to delete the LDN.

The last question is how do you setup the remaining Nortel phones so that if a person presses 0 it will go to the Cisco Console at x5300.

Can you just build a DN and point it to the CISCO and then just make that the Nite DN for the console? Then all you should have to do is unplug the console.

Thanks, maybe I am just over thinking this one and it really is that simple.

The LDNs are viewed in LD21, REQ PRT; TYPE LDN

They are changed in LD15.

Do not X your LDN0 - just change it to another number, so that you always have an LDN of some DN. You want to have a value in LDN0 that is the same digit length as your DID extensions.

The quick workaround is as Hawks posted, but I'd prefer to see the current LDN changed to a steering code.
