Hello,

I have set up two Sharepoint V3 installs, I need to move all the content etc from one to the other, presumably I will be replacing the databases on the new one with the ones that where built during the install on the new box but I am not sure how I would move the databases from one to the other and end up in a situation where all the content appears on the new sharepoint box.

I used a typical install so the databases are the WMSDE databases, SQL Server is not installed on either box at the moment, would it be better if I installed it and upgraded the databases?

Any help would be great, I have very limited exposure to sharepoint.

D.

Thank you very much for the response, I got halfway through the instructions and was told it would be better to start again on a new database. So I guess I will wait a bit and migrate the database to a SQL database soon and move it to the SQL Server we have (which is a different machine).

Regards,
D.
